Nelson is Executive Chairman of Speirs Group, a publicly listed Palmerston North-based company with interests in food processing. He is a joint founder of Speirs Group Limited and was a director and executive of the Company since its inception in 1966.
Nelson has been a director of several publicly listed companies and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
