The Business Model Canvas is a strategic management and entrepreneurial tool. It allows you to describe, design, challenge, invent, and pivot your business model.
BCC uses the business model canvas. Designed by Alexander Osterwalder and the Business Model Foundry, it is a lean startup template. It is based on the assumption that a business model can be described with nine basic building blocks: key partners, key activities, key resources, value propositions, customer relationship, customer segments, channels, cost structure and revenue streams.
The nine building blocks are on a one-page, pre-structured canvas. Work through them alone or with BCC for a guided discussions around the design of your business model.
